Foodee, a Vancouver-based tech startup which provides an online lunch delivery service to offices in Toronto, Vancouver, Austin, Denver and Philadelphia, is eying a major expansion in the United States.

The concept behind Foodee? Get quality food into boardrooms across North America. The user-friendly website allows users to locate food selections that can be ordered pursuant to users' dietary preferences. This includes a dairy-free, vegan, vegetarian, gluten-free, paleo or "favourites" section.

The company wants to execute a 10-city expansion that would see Foodee continue to grow in the U.S. market. The ability to take on this impressive growth strategy comes from Foodee's recent $6 million Series A funding round, which was led by BDC Capital. To date, Foodee has raised $10 million from Canadian and U.S. investors.
