In my post Proposed Legislation To Govern Compensation of Broader Public Sector Executives", I wrote that Bill 8 was moving swiftly through the stages of the legislative process in Ontario.  An Act to promote public sector and MPP accountability and transparency by enacting the Broader Public Sector Executive Compensation Act, 2014 and amending various Acts has now been passed.
