The Government of Canada has announced the extension of the CAN+ program to India.  Previously, only Mexico was a designated CAN+ country.  The program offers expedited processing of visa applications and is open to foreign nationals from designated countries that have traveled to Canada or the United States in the last 10 years.

The CAN+ program in India will operate three express visa streams: Business Express, Tourist Partner Program, and the Student Partners Program. The program provides access to reduced processing times on standard multiple-entry visas at a reduced fee of $100.  Applications will be processed through 10 Visa Application Centers in India.

Further details on the program may be found in the Citizenship and Immigration Canada news release here.
