OTC Derivative Reporting Rules Come Into Force In Ontario

The Ontario Securities Commission announced last
week that OSC Rule 91-506 Derivatives: Product
Determination and OSC Rule 91-507 Trade Repositories and
Derivatives Data Reporting have received Ministerial
approval.
As
we previously discussed, the final versions of the rules were
published in November and came into force beginning on
December 31, 2013. The implementation of some requirements,
meanwhile, will be staggered over the next year.
