Industry Canada's revised regulations to Canada's anti-spam legislation "(CASL") have just been published.  A copy of the regulations is available here:

http://www.gazette.gc.ca/rp-pr/p1/2013/2013-01-05/html/reg1-eng.html

It has been about a year and a half since Industry Canada first published its draft regulations to CASL.  (The Canadian Radio-television and Telecommunications Commission ("CRTC") published its first draft regulations to CASL at the same time as Industry Canada, which was in the summer of 2011; however, the CRTC registered its regulations in March 2012.)

There is a 30-day consultation period for the public to submit their comments to Industry Canada on the revised regulations (deadline: February 4, 2013).  Organizations, it's time to start reviewing these revised regulations against your current practices and sending in your comments to the government if you have any concerns!
