The Canadian Securities Administrators (CSA) today published for
comment proposed amendments to National Policy
11-201 Delivery of Documents by Electronic
Means. The proposals are intended to, among other
things, simplify guidance on the form and substance of
securityholder consents with respect to electronic delivery of
documents and reduce technology-related language in the policy to
avoid obsolescence. The CSA is accepting comments until June 29 and
has formulated specific questions for the consideration of industry
participants and investors.
