Texto aprovado originalmente no Senado Federal agora aguarda sanção presidencial

No dia 19 de maio de 2020, o Senado Federal rejeitou o substitutivo ao Projeto de Lei nº 1.179/20 encaminhado pela Câmara dos Deputados e retomou o texto anteriormente aprovado pelo próprio Senado Federal. O Projeto de Lei nº 1.179/20 agora aguarda a sanção presidencial.

Conforme detalhado no boletim informativo publicado no início de abril,o texto aprovado do Projeto de Lei nº 1.179/20 estabelece algumas disposições que afetam o mercado imobiliário, tais como: (i) a impossibilidade de concessão de liminar em ação de despejo ajuizadas com fundamento nos incisos III, IV, VI, do §1º do Art. 59 da Lei 8.245/91, (ii) impedimento ou suspensão dos prazos prescricionais e decadenciais e (iii) novas atribuições ao síndico de condomínio edilício.
