My Health Record Amendment Inquiry
The Government's response to the concerns about
privacy with 'My Health Record' have included the
introduction of amending legislation - the My Health Records
Amendment (Strengthening Privacy) Bill 2018 - to Parliament. In a
separate inquiry, this time by the Senate Community Affairs
Legislation Committee, the Bill will be examined to determine if it
addresses the public concerns. Submissions on the Bill can be made
to the inquiry. While a due date for submissions has yet to be set,
the Committee is due to report back by 8 October.
