Australian Democrats' Leader Meg Lees will respond to the Coalition and Labor tax proposals this Friday (September 18) in an address to the National Press Club.

"The announcement follows extensive consultation and detailed analysis by the Party of all the proposals, including the GST. The Democrats' formal response will represent a considered view of the two packages, and set out firm guidelines for Senate passage of the competing Coalition and Labor packages."
