A number of bills promoting access to capital formation have been introduced during the 114th Congress. The focus remains on reducing and eliminating burdensome regulation for smaller reporting companies and emerging companies in order to facilitate this access to capital. Of the bills we have tracked, five have been passed by the House of Representatives and received in the Senate. Nine of these bills have been ordered reported by the House Committee on Financial Services. For a summary and current status of legislation relating to capital formation, click here.

We will continue to monitor the progress of these bills and provide timely updates on this blog.
