In the November 19, 2014, Federal Register, the National Institute of
Food and Agriculture announced it is soliciting nominations of
veterinary service shortage situations for its Veterinary Medicine
Loan Repayment Program, which provides up to $25,000 each year
toward qualified educational loans of eligible veterinarians. The
notice initiates a 60-day nomination period for fiscal year 2015
and describes the procedures and criteria by which regions may
nominate veterinary shortage situations. Comments due
January 20, 2015.
