The Board has launched a full-fledged investigation against the Union of Chambers of Turkish Engineers and Architects, Burdur Provincial Representative and 13 undertakings active in the sector for free-lance mechanical engineering within the Burdur province (16.11.2016, 16-39/632-M)
The Turkish Competition Board (“Board”) concluded the preliminary investigation conducted based on the allegations that free-lance mechanical engineers active within the Burdur province violated Article 4 of Law No. 4054 on the Protection of Competition (“Law No. 4054”) by establishing a shared pool amongst themselves and sharing profits.
The Board found that the relevant allegations and findings are serious and adequate and decided to launch a full-fledged investigation through its meeting dated 16.11.2016 and with its decision numbered 16-39/632-M, in order to determine whether the Union of Chambers of Turkish Engineers and Architects, Burdur Provincial Representative; Isı Taş Mühendislik San. Şti.; Osman Deniz Mühendislik Müşavirlik San. ve Tic. Ltd. Şti.; Furkan Mühendislik; Öz Dizayn Mühendislik Doğalgaz İnşaat Taahhüt San. Tic. Ltd. Şti.; Şenses Teknik Ltd. Şti.; Tolacı Mühendislik; Bems Mühendislik; Savran İnş. Müh. Müş. Hizm. San. Tic. Ltd. Şti. and Kocapınar Müh. Hiz. Alım Mlz. Plas. Mob. İnş. Elk. Gıda Or. Hav. Mak. Tur Otom. San. Tic. Ltd. Şti. have violated the Article 4 of the Law No. 4054.
