Recently, DeHeng Law Offices signed a contract with Big Data Security Engineering Research (Guizhou) Co., Ltd. to serve as its retained legal counsel.
Big Data Security Engineering Research (Guizhou) Co., Ltd. was co-initiated by Guiyang Municipal Government and Alibaba Group in December 2019. It is the legal entity operated by Guizhou Big Data Security Engineering Research Center. Guizhou Big Data Security Engineering Research Center is co-founded by Guiyang Municipal Government and Alibaba Group, specialized in the research and development of data security, with members such as China Information Security Certification Center, China Electronics Standardization Institute, the National Research Center for Information Technology Security, the Institute of Software and the Institute of Computing Technology of the Chinese Academy of Sciences. It aims to explore the governance mode and commercialization of data security, and lead the country in data security.
As the retained legal counsel, the DeHeng team, led by lawyer Tu Fengxin from its Beijing office, will organize specialists in various areas such as investment, financing, securities and intellectual property rights protection to provide high-level legal services to meet the development needs of the Center.
