Womble Bond Dickinson attorney John Garziglia and members of the firm's Communications, Technology and Media Sector Team have prepared a number of state-specific checklists on FCC public file requirements.

The checklists, which were shared with radio and television stations and state associations, were developed to help broadcasters comply with FCC reviews of broadcast station online public files. The FCC requires that stations keep certain information available to the public via an online file. This online file includes information about political time sold or given away by each station, quarterly lists of the most significant programs each station aired concerning issues of importance to its community, data on ownership of each station and active applications each station has filed with the Commission.
