Karas is licensed to practice law in Canada and the U.S. and assists clients with a variety of technology matters including technology transactions and commercializing and licensing intellectual property.
He has a Master of Laws in Law, Technology and Entrepreneurship from Cornell Tech (Cornell Law School). He utilizes his entrepreneurial spirit and passion for technology when advising clients. He has experience advising clients on technology projects and transactions, including arranging and procuring information technology services and software, commercializing and licensing intellectual property, and privacy and data matters. Karas also has a strong background in general commercial contracting and serves clients with actionable, business-oriented legal advice.
