Billboard recognized Entertainment partners Robert Darwell, Alexis Robinson and Daniel Schnapp on its 2024 list of "Top Music Lawyers." According to Billboard, the annual list highlights a class of attorneys that serve as an essential resource for the music industry's rising artists, songwriters and superstars.

This is the second consecutive year that Robinson, who leads the firm's Entertainment, Technology and Media practice group, and Schnapp, who co-leads the Artificial Intelligence team, the Technology Transactions team and Esports & Games team, were recognized. Darwell, who is head of Global Media at Sheppard Mullin, has been included on previous editions of the list.

Darwell, Robinson and Schnapp were recognized for representing some of the biggest names in entertainment including Amazon Studios, Spotify, ASCAP, Bytedance/TikTok, Vevo and Triller. The firm recently served as counsel for investment company Domain Capital Group in acquiring the catalogs of prolific musical artists such as rapper Iggy Azalea and Ashley Gorley, ASCAP's 10-time country music songwriter of the year honoree. Billboard also noted firm's representation of ASCAP "in negotiating numerous licenses with major global television network programmers, terrestrial, digital radio platforms and service providers, including a multiyear agreement with YouTube and SiriusXM."
