A.J. Harwin will present on a panel discussion titled "Strategies to Undermine Employees Prosecuting Workers Comp and Employment Claims at the Same Time" at the 2024 CLM Annual Conference on Thursday, April 4, at the Marriott Marquis Hotel in San Francisco, Calif.

This seminar, which will run from 11:45 a.m. to 12:45 p.m. PT, is for both employment and workers compensation claims/risk professionals, persons who are typically handling different matters arising out of the same employee making virtually the same claim against the same employer, or in the alternative, making contradictory claims. Quite often, the claims are prosecuted by the same law applicant/plaintiff's law firm wherein the employee's attorney on the workers compensation claim will prosecute a claim that he/she is too disabled to work while a separate civil attorney at the same firm prosecutes a diametrically contradictory claim that the employee is able to work with minor accommodation. Mr. Harwin will be teaching attendees strategies to use these double dipping employee's claims against each other in order to minimize risk and costs for carriers and their insureds/employers.
