John will continue his litigation practice with a focus on competition law issues relating to mergers, abuse of dominance, and cartels. In a career spanning more than 50 years, John has acted as counsel in many leading cases including numerous criminal prosecutions, mergers, and abuse of dominance claims before the Competition Tribunal and the courts. Most recently, he represented Videotron in its purchase of Freedom Mobile following protracted proceedings before the Competition Tribunal and the Federal Court of Appeal.
