Masuda, Funai, Eifert & Mitchell, Ltd. hosted its annual Immigration Seminar on Thursday, February 23, 2023, at the DoubleTree Hotel in Arlington Heights, Illinois. Approximately 69 executives, professionals, and managers attended from corporations, universities, banks, and consulting and accounting firms.

The program began with Robert White speaking on how to succeed in the 2023 H-1B Quota. Eldon Kakuda, Bryan Funai, Julie Emerick, Hirokazu Kishinami, and Kathleen Gaber joined him on the panel to discuss viable options if not selected in H-1B Quota. Robert White and Bryan Funai discussed government delays in reviewing cases, and Fazila Vaid spoke on the crossroads between remote work and immigration rules. The program concluded with Eldon Kakuda moderating a panel discussion on Hot Topics: Managing the Past and Preparing for the Future. The conversation was joined by panelists: Fazila Vaid, Derek Strain, and Robert White.
