As the new legal year begins, Conyers is pleased to note that the BVI Commercial Court has confirmed the appointment of the following Judges:
The legal year starts with Justice Farara QC, who will be sitting from 1 September through to 15 October 2019.
Justice Wallbank has served the Commercial Court for many years with a series of temporary appointments. We are delighted that he has been appointed for a full term of three years, commencing 14 October 2019.
The Court also sees the return of Justice Jack who sat in the Court last term. His appointment is for one year from 18 November 2019.
This corpus of judges, all of whom are extremely experienced in offshore cases, will ensure the continued success of the BVI Commercial Court in offering an efficient, business-oriented service to its global users.
