In the first instalment of this two-part series I outlined the changes which were introduced by Bill 27 – Working for Workers Act, 2021, which received royal assent on Dec. 2, 2021. A short three months later, on Feb. 28, 2022, the Ontario government introduced Bill 88, Working for Workers Act, 2022 (WFWA 2022) which, if passed, will make further changes to various employment-related legislation.
