Kushal Patel

Kushal Patel is an Associate Attorney at Laura Devine Attorneys in New York. Before immigrating to the US himself, Kushal practiced UK immigration law in London.

Kushal has extensive experience in employment and family-based US immigration, advising both corporate and individual clients on the best strategies for obtaining immigrant and non-immigrant visas. He has worked with large multinational clients, start-up companies and individuals in a range of industries from finance, technology and media, to academia, entertainment and travel.

Since moving to New York, Kushal has been an active member the New York City Bar Association, the American Immigration Lawyers Association (AILA) New York Chapter, British American Business and the St. George’s Society.  He co-founded the Manhattan-based My Networking Group (MNG).

Murty Gollakota

Murty Gollakota is a Senior Associate Attorney with Laura Devine Attorneys in New York.

Murty advises businesses and individuals on a broad range of matters, including temporary employment authorization, US permanent residence, investment into the US, intra-company transferees and professionals/individuals of extraordinary ability. He represents clients from an array of industries, ranging from finance, real estate and high-tech, to academia, entertainment and advertising.

Murty is a member of the American Immigration Lawyers Association (AILA) New York Chapter. He previously co-authored the US section of Thomson Reuters’ “Immigration Law: Jurisdictional Comparisons”. He has presented to universities on non-immigrant and immigrant visa options for students, faculty, staff and researchers.
