Two new members of the Public Company Accounting Oversight Board ("PCAOB") were sworn in after being appointed by the SEC on December 12, 2017. William A. Duhnke III will serve as PCAOB Chair and Kathleen M. Hamm will serve as a Board Member.

Mr. Duhnke most recently served as Majority Staff Director and General Counsel to the U.S. Senate Committee on Rules and Administration. Previously, he served as Staff Director and General Counsel to the Senate Banking Committee, as well as to the Senate Committee on Appropriations.

Prior to her appointment, Ms. Hamm was the global leader of securities and FinTech services for Promontory Financial Group. Ms. Hamm previously served at the U.S. Treasury Department as counselor to the deputy secretary.

In addition, Mr. Duhnke announced that Francis "Abe" Dymond will serve as his Chief of Staff. Mr. Dymond previously served as special counsel to Board member Jeanette M. Franzel.
