Reacting to the dangers of the "Tide Pod Challenge" -- where people eat Tide laundry detergent packets -- P&G has been working to educate consumers that this is a bad idea.  For example, P&G has made public announcements warning people of the dangers, created a video featuring Rob Gronkowski which urges kids not to eat them, and requested social media platforms to take down content that may pose a danger to kids.

Social media platforms, such as Facebook, have been reacting to the company's concerns and removing posts that may encourage kids to participate.  For example, Facebook removed a post by a bar, Molly's, that promoted its own "Tide Pod Shot" featuring Tide colors, which was made of Bailey's Irish Cream, vodka dyed orange, and blue Curacao.
