The SEC announced the agenda for its October 5, 2016 meeting of its Advisory Committee on Small and Emerging Companies. The advisory committee will specifically examine: (i) Regulation S-K disclosure requirements; (ii) research regarding corporate board diversity; (iii) outreach to smaller companies about capital raising; and (iv) updates from the Division of Trading and Markets on equity market structure initiatives, a tick-size pilot, along with the treatment of so-called "finders" that assist companies in capital raising activities.

The October 5 meeting is open to the public and it will be webcast live on the SEC website.
