After nearly four years of contract negotiations, the Saucon Valley School Board and its teachers' union have reached a tentative agreement.

"The Saucon Valley School District board and leadership of Saucon Valley Education Association have just reached a tentative agreement on the teachers' contract that has been the subject of negotiations since January of 2012," said Jeffrey Sultanik, the school board labor attorney.

"No comments will be made by the board or the teachers association about the substance of the tentative agreement until the board meeting on Tuesday evening, when a joint press release will be released by the parties," he said.
