The Parent Resource Center (PRC) in Port Washington, New York, recognized Dyan Finguerra-DuCharme at the organization's 40th Anniversary Friendship Gala. Finguerra-DuCharme provides pro bono counsel to the organization on a wide variety of issues, including contract negotiation, real estate matters, and dispute resolution. When asked about Finguerra-DuCharme's service, PRC Executive Director Patricia Class said:

"Dyan first began providing pro bono services to the Parent Resource Center in 2005. Over 15 years, Dyan has provided hundreds of hours of pro bono advice to our organization on a broad range of matters, from corporate governance to employment issues to sexual harassment training. There has never been a legal issue that Dyan could not assist the PRC in managing and solving. Words could not describe our gratitude for her service. I am thrilled we were able to honor her in this way."

Finguerra-DuCharme received honors alongside PRC Founder Lynne Patterson, Former Treasurer and Executive Director Julie Meer, and Former President Amanda Khalil. In addition to serving as the PRC's legal counsel, Finguerra-DuCharme also served on the PRC Board of Directors from 2005-2008, and she was added to the Women's Honor Roll for the Town of North Hempstead in 2019.
