The DOJ charged an Indonesian citizen and three Indonesian companies with conspiracy and for exporting goods to a designated Iranian entity.

According to the Complaint filed in the U.S. District Court for the District of Columbia, the individual and the companies PT MS Aero Support ("PTMS"), PT Kandiyasa Energi Utama ("PTKEU") and PT Antasena Kreasi ("PTAK") conspired to export U.S.-originating goods to the designated Iranian airline Mahan Air. The DOJ stated that the defendants shipped goods owned by Mahan Air through PTMS, PTKEU and PTAK for repair in the United States, then re-exported the goods to Mahan Air. The individual, who is the majority owner and President Director of PTMS, allegedly arranged the conspiracy with Mahan Air and one of its executives.

The DOJ also charged the individual and PTMS for (i) unlawful and attempted export to an embargoed country, (ii) conspiracy to launder monetary instruments and (iii) false statements.
