The European Commission is seeking feedback on its proposed AI regulation. Read our blog below to find out more and how you can get involved.

Following last week's publication of the much-anticipated proposal for a broad regulation to cover the use of artificial intelligence in the EU (see our blog here), the European Commission is now asking for feedback on its draft legislation.

The Commission notes that all feedback received will be summarised by the Commission and presented to the European Parliament and Council with the aim of feeding into the legislative debate. This is a really important opportunity for stakeholders who will be affected by the proposed AI regulation to make representations, for example covering aspects of the draft legislation that could be improved or clarified.

Feedback closes on 22 June 2021 and can be submitted online here.

It's important to remember that feedback will be made public. Please reach out to the Cooley Products Team if you need help or advice in relation to providing feedback.

Further information and a copy of the draft legislation can be found on the European Commission's webpage for the initiative here.
