Holland & Knight has expanded its Data Strategy, Security & Privacy Team with the addition of Bart Huffman and Wendell Bartnick as partners in its Houston office.

Mr. Huffman and Mr. Bartnick have deep experience in privacy and cybersecurity matters and sophisticated technology transactions. The pair provides legal advice concerning a wide range of matters, particularly in the energy, healthcare, financial, transportation and other critical infrastructure sectors.

Wendell Bartnick counsels clients across various industries on privacy compliance, data protection and breaches, technology product development and commercialization, and e-commerce matters. He has extensive experience advising clients on compliance with federal, state and international privacy laws and guidance, negotiating IT and data deals, including data sharing arrangements and software, SaaS and cloud services agreements (such as AI-based services), and leading response efforts to system and data incidents.
