Please join Holland & Knight at the "Ethics and Professionalism in Government Contracts Practice" colloquium, presented by the Boards of Contract Appeals Bar Association (BCABA) and The George Washington University Law School's Government Procurement Law Program.
This year's CLE colloquium will focus on government ethics, attorney responsibility, and best practices in professional conduct and courtesy in dealings with other parties and the Boards of Contract Appeals. Breakfast will be served.
Topics and Speakers:
- Tom Davis, Partner, Holland & Knight, will provide opening remarks and thoughts on the current state of the relationships between federal agencies and their contractors.
- Stuart Bender, Director, Office of Ethics, U.S. Department of Agriculture, will address the often-overlooked issues relating to the interplay between federal post-government employment rules and related state bar rules.
- Terry Elling, Partner, Holland & Knight, will moderate a panel discussion on a variety of government ethics issues confronted by practitioners from the public and private bars.
- Jason Workmaster, Member, Miller & Chevalier, will moderate a panel discussion on the practical challenges to maintaining high standards of professionalism and courtesy in the course of government contracts practice.
