Memphis (November 4, 2019) – Fisher Phillips, a national labor and employment law firm representing employers, announces that Marilyn Higdon has been named an associate in the firm's Memphis office.

At Fisher Phillips, Marilyn works alongside the firm's employment practitioners and assists clients with wage and hour audits, Equal Employment Opportunity Commission claims, Department of Labor investigations and arbitration agreements.

Marilyn's past experience includes working on matters involving employment discrimination, labor law and contract negotiation and drafting. Prior to joining Fisher Phillips, she worked in-house as an intern in the Labor Law Group at a Fortune 100 global shipping company. She also served as a summer clerk for the Hon. R. David Proctor at the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Alabama.

Marilyn earned her law degree, cum laude, from the University of Mississippi School of Law and her B.S. in psychology from Jacksonville State University.
