Global law firm Clyde & Co was named 'International Law Firm of the Year' for the second time in a row at the International Adviser Global Financial Services Awards.

The award recognises excellence in legal services to the financial services industry. The firm recently advised a large financial institution on a $1 billion syndicated facility to refinance the development of a landmark shopping mall project in the Middle East and was appointed to the legal panel of Komgo, a consortium of leading banks, trading and energy companies that will digitalise trade and commodities finance processes through a blockchain-based open platform.

Adil Hussain, Partner & Global Head of Clyde & Co's Islamic Finance practice, comments: "We are delighted to have been recognised by the financial services industry for the second year in row. The award demonstrates the continued growth of our Banking & Finance practice and the quality of our market-leading services for the insurance, banking and finance industry."

The judging process included extensive research conducted among International Adviser's global panel of financial advisers, followed by a consultation with a panel of expert judges to decide the winners. The winners were announced at a gala dinner on 17 October in London.
