Suzanne Sukkar is a Member and U.S. Business Immigration Attorney in the firm's Ann Arbor office. Her practice focuses on global workforce mobility, employment-based sponsorship and visa matters, immigration audit and compliance for corporate and individual clients across a vast array of industries. Ms. Sukkar renders expert strategic and tactical counsel to a broad clientele base including visa matters for client's employees at all levels of the corporate organizational structure, from the highest level executives, to the entry-level business professional, investors, extraordinary ability workers, outstanding researchers and professors, musicians, artists and athletes, and more. She developed a niche expertise in the area of E treaty trade and investor visas, consular processing, and start-up ventures. Through strategic planning and by offering creative solutions, she has assisted with the seamless transfer of numerous workers world-wide.
Ms. Sukkar is a member of the American Immigration Lawyers Association, the American Bar Association, the State Bar of Michigan, the Washtenaw County Bar Association, and Past President of the Women Lawyers Association of Michigan. In June 2015, she was appointed to the State of Michigan's Commission on Middle Eastern American Affairs by Michigan Governor Rick Snyder. She serves on the Board of the American Arab Chamber of Commerce. She is also a Fellow of the American Bar Foundation and Michigan State Bar Foundation. She received her B.A. from the University of Michigan and her J.D. from Wayne State University Law School.
Billee Ward is Of Counsel in the firm's Grand Rapids office. She has been a practicing health care attorney since 2002. She represents hospitals and other healthcare institutions, physician practices, medical device and pharmaceutical manufacturers, and healthcare vendors in an array of regulatory, contract and transactional matters. She provides counsel to clients ranging from start-up companies at the local level to pharmaceutical and medical device companies operating on an international scale. She is a member of the American Health Lawyers Association and the State Bar of Michigan. Ms. Ward has been recognized as a leader in her field by Michigan Super Lawyers Rising Stars. She received her B.A. from Kalamazoo College and her J.D. from DePaul University College of Law.
