Morrison & Foerster partners Arturo González and Brandon Parris were named to the Daily Journal's 2019 list of the Top 100 Lawyers in California.

Arturo González serves as chair of Morrison & Foerster's Commercial Litigation + Trial Group. Speaking to Arturo's continued success and recognition throughout California, this is the ninth consecutive year in which he has been included on the list. Whether delivering a favorable resolution for Uber after four days of jury trial in the $1 billion "trade secrets trial of the century" against the colossal startup or winning a defense verdict in a $110 million claim against Dell subsidiary VMware on allegations of copyright infringement and breach of license, leading clients to victory in headline-grabbing cases has cemented Arturo's place among the nation's top trial lawyers year after year.

Also making an appearance on the Top 100 list in 2019 is Brandon Parris, a highly regarded corporate lawyer and former co-chair of the firm's Global Corporate Department.  In addition to providing crucial public company counseling advice, Brandon has led several recent landmark transactions, including among others, Sprint's pending $5 billion divestiture of assets to Dish in connection with the blockbuster $59 billion pending merger with T-Mobile, VMware's complex $11 billion recap transaction with Dell, VMware's pending $2.3 billion acquisition of Carbon Black, and Palo Alto Networks' pending acquisition of ZingBox. His client base has included some of the largest brand name clients in the technology, telecommunications, financial services, healthcare and gaming spaces, among others.
