Back in August, Ward and Smith announced that business attorney Deana Labriola joined the American Heart Association's ("AHA") Triangle Metro Board of Directors.

She is helping the non-profit achieve its mission of making Triangle communities healthier in many ways, including moderating an upcoming panel about "Navigating Your Health." The forum is part of the "Go Red for Women - Construction Networking Event." It's a new breakout proceeding AHA's main event, 4th Annual Hard Hats with Heart.

"Go Red for Women" kicks off at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday, September 5 at the Arena Club in the PNC Arena. It's the perfect event work women in the construction industry looking to make new contacts or catch up with established ones. Stick around for Deana's panel at 5 p.m., followed by the main attraction at 6 o'clock.

Hard Hats with Heart is a must-attend for general contractors, subcontractors, commercial brokers, property managers, and all associated with the Triangle construction industry. It includes a night of music, games, craft beer tasting, healthy tailgating, CPR training, a silent auction, and much more, all to raise awareness of health disease and stroke.
