September 3, 2019 – Day Pitney LLP announced today that eight new associates have joined the firm. "Our new associates are a diverse mix of accomplished attorneys with valuable hands-on experience and insights gained through judicial clerkships and summer associate positions, which will immediately benefit our clients."

The new associates are:

Andrew M. Ammirati, Complex Commercial Litigation. Ammirati was a summer associate with Day Pitney in 2017 and most recently served as a law clerk to Chief Justice Richard A. Robinson of the Connecticut Supreme Court. He received his J.D. from the University of Connecticut School of Law and his B.A., cum laude, from the University of Connecticut. He is resident in the firm's Hartford office.

Matthew W. Austin, Complex Commercial Litigation. Austin was a summer associate with Day Pitney in 2018. He received his J.D. from the University of Connecticut School of Law; his M.S. from The Johns Hopkins University; and his B.S. from the United States Naval Academy. He is resident in the firm's Hartford office.

Deanna Christian, Private Equity and Finance. Christian most recently served as a special education law clerk at the New Jersey Office of Administrative Law. She received her J.D., summa cum laude, from Rutgers Law School, where she was a member of the Order of the Coif, and her B.S., cum laude, from Rutgers University. She is resident in the firm's New Jersey office.

Erin Hodgson, Complex Commercial Litigation. Hodgson was a summer associate with Day Pitney in 2017 and most recently served as a law clerk to Associate Justice Walter F. Timpone of the New Jersey Supreme Court. She received her J.D. from Rutgers Law School and her B.A., summa cum laude, from Quinnipiac University. She is resident in the firm's New Jersey office.

Amanda Kronemeyer, Real Estate and Land Use. Kronemeyer was a summer associate with Day Pitney in 2018. She received her J.D. from Rutgers Law School and her B.A. from Hofstra University. She is resident in the firm's New Jersey office.

Kaitlyn C. Sapp, Trusts and Estates. Sapp was a summer associate with Day Pitney in 2018. She received her J.D. from Boston University School of Law and her B.S., with honors, from the University of Connecticut. She is resident in the firm's Boston office.

Palak Sharma, Complex Commercial Litigation. Sharma was a summer associate with Day Pitney in 2018. She received her J.D. from George Washington University Law School and her B.A., summa cum laude, from Rutgers University. She is resident in the firm's New Jersey office.

Kara A. Zarchin, Insurance and Reinsurance. Zarchin was a summer associate with Day Pitney in 2017 and most recently served as a law clerk to Associate Justice Richard N. Palmer of the Connecticut Supreme Court. She received her J.D. from the University of Connecticut School of Law; her M.A. from the Middlebury Bread Loaf School of English; and her B.A., cum laude, from Middlebury College.
