Two members of Ogier's team in Guernsey have been promoted to senior associate – Charlotte Brown in the corporate team, and Michael Rogers in the dispute resolution team.

Charlotte first joined Ogier as a Bursary Student, returned to Ogier in 2014 as a trainee solicitor and was admitted as a solicitor of England and Wales in June 2016. She advises on a broad range of corporate and commercial, regulatory and investment fund matters and legal and regulatory aspects relating to private wealth structures. Charlotte is an integral member of the corporate team and client feedback describes her as "excellent – always available and willing to go beyond the usual call of duty."

Michael is a dual qualified lawyer, admitted in the UK and South Africa. He advises fund managers, leading financial institutions, insolvency practitioners and ultra-high net worth individuals in a diverse range of complex, high value disputes which are often multi-jurisdictional in nature.

Michael recently obtained his STEP Advanced Certificate in Trust Disputes with distinction. He is described by clients in the Citywealth Leaders List 2019 as "always a pleasure to deal with."

Guernsey Practice Partner Marcus Leese said: "I am very pleased to see the well-deserved promotions of Charlotte and Michael, both of whom have made exceptional contributions to their teams and the wider firm.

"Their promotions demonstrate our commitment to recognising and developing talent at Ogier. I look forward to seeing Charlotte and Michael's continued success at the firm."
