On August 8, 2019, MoFo's San Francisco office hosted over 70 attendees for the National Conference of Women's Bar Associations' GOOD Guys program in conjunction with the American Bar Association's Annual Meeting. GOOD Guys is a program designed to break the impasse in women's advancement by "engaging people who have been missing from the conversation for too long — the GUYS!"

San Francisco litigation partner and co-chair of the firm's Women's Strategy Committee Tiffany Cheung kicked off the event with a welcome on behalf of the firm. Professor Joan C. Williams, founding director of the Center for WorkLife Law at the University of California, Hastings College of the Law, then presented her thoughts on "bias interrupters."

Christin Hill, San Francisco litigation of counsel, moderated the GOOD Guys panel, which included general counsel Matt Fawcett from our client NetApp, president of the Law Society of England and Wales Simon Davis, and U.S. Navy Deputy Assistant Judge Advocate General Thomas Leary. MoFo GOOD Guys Craig Martin, Nate Sabri, Mark Foster, Andre Fontana, and Morgan MacBride attended the program and the following networking opportunity.

The GOOD Guys program, first launched in 2016, includes a toolkit that helps organizations uncover the best methods for involving male allies in women's organizations and issues.
