The American Lawyer has published its annual A-List rankings, naming the top 20 most well-rounded law firms that are "the best of the best." The American Lawyer ranked Morrison & Foerster in eighth position, improving on last year's ranking of 11th. This is Morrison & Foerster's highest placement on the A-List since 2006. The firm has now been on the A-List for 15 of the ranking's 17 years.
The American Lawyer's A-List ranking is based on the following factors:
- Diversity;
- Women equity partner representation;
- Pro bono commitment;
- Mid-level associate job satisfaction; and
- Financial success/revenue per lawyer.
