Estate planning partner Amy Lonergan received the 2019 President's Award from the Boston Estate Planning Council (BEPC), a multi-disciplinary community of estate and wealth planning professionals. The award, which recognizes Lonergan's contributions to BEPC and the industry, was presented at the BEPC Annual Gala at the Boston Park Plaza where over 600 wealth management and estate planning professionals attended. Day Pitney was the exclusive sponsor of the Dessert and Champagne Reception following the dinner program.
Lonergan advises individuals and families in all aspects of estate and tax planning. Her practice focuses on developing complex plans that incorporate sophisticated strategies to transfer wealth to the next generation while minimizing taxes. She recently completed a 3-year term on the BEPC Board of Directors and is currently Vice Chair of its Leadership Development Committee.
