Kirkland & Ellis LLP is pleased to announce that Albert W. Stemp has joined the Firm's Los Angeles office as a partner in the Real Estate Practice Group.

Mr. Stemp advises a diverse group of clients on a broad range of real estate transactions. He counsels private equity funds and other institutional real estate investors and owners, as well as a number of family offices and other clients. He represents clients in joint ventures, preferred equity deals, acquisitions, dispositions, and various types of financings and real estate-related mergers and acquisitions across all commercial real estate asset classes.

Mr. Stemp joins the Firm from Proskauer Rose LLP's Los Angeles office, where he was a partner. He has been recognized as a leading lawyer by Chambers USA since 2016.
