Business in Vancouver's recent article reports that Lawson Lundell had the largest five-year increase of number of lawyers employed out of the top five biggest law firms in BC. According to the article, Lawson Lundell grew 22.7% from 2015 to 2019. Lawson Lundell was recognized as the third largest law firm as per the number of lawyers practising in Metro Vancouver in 2019 out of a total of 20 firms (see full list here).
The article notes, that the province's largest law firms have added more local lawyers to their rosters in 2019, with the average number of lawyers at the top 20 B.C. law firms surpassing the previous 2015 high.
