Corporate partners representing Ogier's BVI, Cayman, Jersey and Luxembourg offices will be attending the 18th annual IBA International Mergers & Acquisitions Conference in New York next week.

The event comes with Ogier's international teams completing some major M&A deals including the £46 billion Shire-Takeda deal, the $22.5 billion Barrick-Randgold merger and the $2.7 billion Transocean-Ocean Rig transaction.

Partners Simon Dinning (Jersey), Bertrand Geradin (Luxembourg), Michael Killourhy (BVI) and Bradley Kruger (Cayman) are attending the conference, which features sessions on tech M&A, public deals, enforcement, activism and geopolitics.

Ogier's global teams are leading offshore advisers on big-ticket M&A and also have significant experience working with onshore counsel on international regulatory sanctions work, as well as a number of NASDAQ and NYSE listings relating to SPACs and IPOs.

Simon Dinning, Global Head of Ogier's corporate practice, said: "Our team has extensive experience in providing legal advice in connection with all aspects of international M&A, with significant recent experience in Jersey Schemes of Arrangement in particular.

"The upcoming IBA event is a great opportunity to talk about our recent deals, and the trends that we see reflected across our global network of offices."
