Ogier is proud to sponsor the INSOL Channel Islands seminar 2019, which is taking place on 20 June in St Peter Port Guernsey.

Held in association with ARIES, the Channel Islands INSOL member association, the one day seminar presents an unrivalled opportunity for insolvency practitioners across Guernsey and Jersey to share expert insights and best practice.

The seminar will focus on both offshore and cross-border topics, including substance, the future of audit, and governmental adoption of new and emerging technologies.

Ogier has a strong track record in restructuring and insolvency, having worked on many of the major matters in Guernsey and Jersey, including successfully representing The Carlyle Group after a nine-year dispute worth nearly $2 billion. The Ogier team working on the high profile matter was led by Partner Simon Davies who has written extensively on the matter, including in this most recent briefing.

Mathew Newman, Head of Dispute Resolution in Guernsey, said: "We are delighted to continue our support of the INSOL Channel Islands Seminar. Not only does this major industry event provide a forum for insolvency practitioners to engage with the big issues, it also showcases the expertise and agility of the Channel Islands in a rapidly developing industry."
