The OSLA Conference – The 5th Mark Ylvisaker Honorary Lecture on May 10, 2019 from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m.. is being held at BMO Institute for Learning in Scarborough. This event is hosted by The Ontario Association of Speech-Language Pathologists and Audiologists (OSLA).

OSLA represents, promotes and supports its members in their work on behalf of all Ontarians, especially those with communication disorders, swallowing difficulties, or hearing health care needs.

The Goal

This lecture celebrates the legacy of Dr. Ylvisaker's outstanding contributions to the field of acquired brain injury at both an individual and international level. This year, Sheila MacDonald, an internationally recognized speech-language pathologist with over 25 years of experience in assessing and treating individuals with acquired brain injury (ABI), is the honorary recipient of the Mark Ylvisaker Honorary Lecture Award.
