Kirkland & Ellis advised Cloverleaf Cold Storage, a leading cold storage warehousing company, and private equity funds managed by Blackstone Group (NYSE:BX), one of the world's leading investment firms, on the sale of Cloverleaf to Americold Realty Trust (NYSE: COLD), the world's largest publicly traded REIT focused on the ownership, operation and development of temperature-controlled warehouses, for $1.24 billion. The closing of the acquisition is subject to customary closing conditions and is expected to occur in the second quarter of 2019.
