For the fifth consecutive year, The Globe and Mail has collaborated with Statista to conduct a nationwide survey of legal professionals, including lawyers, legal executives, and in-house counsel, to identify the most highly regarded law firms in Canada. Based on more than 11,000 recommendations across 31 practice areas, ranging from Aboriginal and Indigenous Law to White-Collar Crime, Statista compiled a list of the 200 firms with the strongest recognition in their respective fields.
The survey was conducted online from April 7 to May 30, 2025, gathering over 11,000 recommendations for law firms across 31 practice areas. Self-recommendations were not permitted and were excluded from the results.
