We are proud to announce that Jennifer Shayko has been selected as a recipient of the Markus Cohen, Q.C. Memorial Award for Excellence in Franchise Law.
Jennifer was recognized for her contributions to the paper "Problems and Best Practices for Effectively Dealing with System Compliance and Change," co-authored with lawyers Jennifer Dolman, Richard LeBlanc and Stephanie Sugar. The award was presented at the Ontario Bar Association's 24th Annual Franchise Law Conference on November 27, 2025.
Named in memory of the late Markus Cohen, Q.C., the award celebrates excellence, leadership and unwavering commitment to franchise law. It recognizes outstanding scholarly contributions by Ontario Bar Association members and stands as a tribute to Markus' enduring impact on the franchise law community.
