As part of its annual recognition program, BT recently announced the recipients of its 2025 service awards, which laud firm citizens who exemplify excellence in client service, community engagement, and commitment to the firm's core standards.
Camille Conway Award
Chicago Managing Partner Michael C. Carrillo received the Camille Conway Award, named after the late partner for his staunch advocacy and commitment to ensuring that all he encountered were seen, supported, and equipped to succeed. Mike was cited as instrumental in building a culture where everyone feels valued and supported. A member of the BT Foundation board of directors, Mike supports donation drives, volunteer experiences, and activities that fuel connection and hosts bimonthly "huddles" to foster open communication in the Chicago office, where Camille Conway's daughter, Corinne Conway, is an associate.
Joseph A. Maley Award
Atlanta-based partner Sarah J. Hawk was honored with the Joseph A. Maley Award, established in memory of the late son of Labor and Employment Department Chair John R. Maley, a longtime leader of firm pro bono efforts. An immigration attorney, Sarah has invested significantly in providing pro bono services and engaging the Atlanta office in community outreach. As co-chair of the Georgia Asylum Immigration Network and the Asian Pacific Institute on Gender-Based Violence, she has made a profound impact locally and nationally.
Commitment to Community Award
Partner-elect Alejandra Reichard received the Commitment to Community Award for making an extraordinary impact on her community through volunteerism, service, and advocacy. Based in the Indianapolis office, Alejandra serves as a Young Professionals board member for Kid's Voice and has committed to a robust pro bono practice with a particular focus on immigration issues. Much of Alejandra's community work is dedicated to supporting underserved populations and strengthening families.
Client Service Award
Kenneth J. Yerkes, immediate past chair of the Labor and Employment Department, received the Client Service Award, which acknowledges outstanding client service that exceeds expectations and enhances relationships. For decades, Ken has developed countless client relationships for the firm, and in-house counsel routinely hire him when they switch companies. Based in Indianapolis, Ken has never lost a trial, has negotiated some of the largest collective bargaining agreements in the country, and arbitrated hundreds of cases. Recognized with numerous awards including BTI Client Service All-Stars and Labor Law - Management Lawyer of the Year twice, Ken has been recognized not only by his colleagues but by industry peers as well.
Kenneth H. Inskeep Award
Morristown Partner-in-Charge Michael C. Zogby was recognized with the Kenneth H. Inskeep Award for his exceptional mentoring and support of colleagues' growth, development, and success. Named for retired partner Ken Inskeep, the award recognizes those who have exhibited selfless dedication to guiding talent through firm life and the legal profession.
